Part-Time Faculty: HOM 314 Music Videos From MTV to Today

Responsibilities

• Develop and update the course syllabus for HOM 314
• Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours (two hours per week)
• Deliver instruction based on class competencies and performance levels
• Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Submit completed final grades according to University regulations
• Coordinate the ordering of appropriate books and materials
• Work with the academic unit to maintain student learning outcomes

Requirements

• Ph.D. or ABD in Music History or a related field
• Experience in syllabus development and lecture preparation
• Ability to manage grading and student assessments
• Commitment to regular in-person presence on the Syracuse campus
