About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and update the course syllabus for SWK 601
- Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments
- Deliver instruction via 90-minute synchronous online sessions and manage asynchronous content
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support students
- Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
- Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
- Complete and submit CSWE competency-based student outcomes for department assessment and accreditation
- Build positive rapport with students and fellow faculty members
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
- Minimum of two years of post-masters professional experience
- Ability to teach effectively in an online environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching graduate-level social work courses online
