Part-Time Faculty: Fundamentals of Social Work Practice I

Responsibilities

• Develop and update the course syllabus for SWK 601
• Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments
• Deliver instruction via 90-minute synchronous online sessions and manage asynchronous content
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support students
• Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
• Complete and submit CSWE competency-based student outcomes for department assessment and accreditation
• Build positive rapport with students and fellow faculty members

Requirements

• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
• Minimum of two years of post-masters professional experience
• Ability to teach effectively in an online environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching graduate-level social work courses online
