About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and update class syllabi for SWK 601: Fundamentals of Social Work Practice I
- Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments
- Deliver instruction based on course competencies and performance levels
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support students
- Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
- Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
- Complete and submit CSWE competency-based student outcomes for accreditation
- Build positive rapport with students and fellow faculty members
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
- Two or more years of post-master's professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level in social work
