Part-Time Faculty: Fundamentals of Social Work Practice I

Responsibilities

• Develop and update class syllabi for SWK 601: Fundamentals of Social Work Practice I
• Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments
• Deliver instruction based on course competencies and performance levels
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support students
• Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
• Complete and submit CSWE competency-based student outcomes for accreditation
• Build positive rapport with students and fellow faculty members

Requirements

• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
• Two or more years of post-master's professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level in social work
