About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and update the course syllabus for FSC 452/652 (Forensic Mental Health)
- Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments
- Deliver in-person instruction on the SU campus during scheduled class periods
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours (two hours per week)
- Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
- Submit completed final grades according to University regulations
- Coordinate with the academic unit to maintain student learning outcomes
Requirements
- Experience with both the practical and theoretical aspects of mental health and their application in forensic science settings
- Proven experience presenting lectures and professional presentations
- Expertise in forensic psychology
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified and practicing forensic psychologist
- Retired forensic psychologist
