Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, Two plus years post-master's experience, Undergraduate or graduate teaching experience preferred
About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and update the course syllabus for SWK 361: Foundations of Social Work Research
- Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments
- Deliver instruction covering research methods, including problem formulation, measurement, sampling, design, data collection, and analysis
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support students
- Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
- Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
- Complete and submit CSWE competency-based student outcomes for department assessment and accreditation
- Build positive rapport with students and faculty members
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
- Two or more years of post-master's professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous undergraduate or graduate-level teaching experience in social work
