Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, Two plus years post-master's experience, Undergraduate or graduate teaching experience preferred

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update the course syllabus for SWK 361: Foundations of Social Work Research
  • Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments
  • Deliver instruction covering research methods, including problem formulation, measurement, sampling, design, data collection, and analysis
  • Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support students
  • Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
  • Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
  • Complete and submit CSWE competency-based student outcomes for department assessment and accreditation
  • Build positive rapport with students and faculty members

Requirements

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
  • Two or more years of post-master's professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous undergraduate or graduate-level teaching experience in social work
