Part-Time Faculty: DRA 328 Makeup Practicum

Responsibilities

• Develop and update the course syllabus for DRA 328 Practicum in Stage Makeup
• Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments
• Present instruction covering various stage makeup methods, including SFX and fantasy makeup
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours and build positive rapport with students and faculty
• Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
• Meet all designated class periods and manage absences according to department policy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years of combined experience working in theatrical or film in either a professional or academic setting
• Prior teaching experience is required
• Proficiency in SFX and fantasy makeup techniques
