About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach TRF 451/651 Directing for the Fall 2026 semester (3 credits)
- Develop a comprehensive course syllabus and prepare all instructional materials
- Lead in-person class meetings on Mondays from 2:15-5:00 PM
- Hold weekly on-campus office hours to support student learning and mentorship
- Grade student assignments and examinations in a timely manner
- Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred)
- Substantial professional background in film and/or television directing
- Ability to instruct in person and hold on-campus office hours
- Proficiency in operating standard classroom instructional technology (computers, projectors, etc.)
- Background in Communications is preferred
