About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach one section of DSF 203.1 Design Thinking (2.5 hours per week) for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters
  • Develop and update course syllabi, lectures, projects, and student assignments
  • Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support student learning
  • Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
  • Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
  • Build positive rapport with students and faculty members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in design or a related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience applying design thinking in a business or organizational context
  • Proven track record of leading design thinking processes with clients across various industries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a design consultancy or brand strategy firm
  • Previous experience in mentoring students or junior professionals
