About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach one section of DSF 203.1 Design Thinking (2.5 hours per week) for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters
- Develop and update course syllabi, lectures, projects, and student assignments
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support student learning
- Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
- Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
- Build positive rapport with students and faculty members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in design or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience applying design thinking in a business or organizational context
- Proven track record of leading design thinking processes with clients across various industries
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a design consultancy or brand strategy firm
- Previous experience in mentoring students or junior professionals
