Part-Time Faculty: Counseling Internship - School Counseling

Responsibilities

• Meet weekly with students for group supervision
• Develop and execute lesson plans for the COU 790 course
• Provide feedback on students' counseling recordings and process notes
• Deliver formative and summative feedback to students
• Complete written evaluations of student performance
• Communicate with site supervisors and program coordinators as necessary

Requirements

• Doctorate or ABD in counselor education
• Proven experience working as a school counselor
• Demonstrated effective teaching and supervisory practices applicable to a clinical internship course

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a New York State School Counselor
