Part-Time Faculty: COU 750 - Practicum in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Responsibilities

• Lead the COU 750 Practicum in Clinical Mental Health Counseling for the Fall 2026 semester
• Develop and update course syllabi and prepare lectures, projects, and student assignments
• Provide weekly individual and group supervision to students on campus
• Present instruction based on course competencies and performance levels
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours and grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Collect and submit student assessment data for accreditation purposes
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and build positive rapport with students and faculty

Requirements

• Doctorate or ABD in counselor education
• Experience working with varied clinical populations
• Experience in providing clinical supervision in a group format
• Demonstrated effective teaching and supervisory practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensure or certification as a professional counselor
