Part-time Faculty - Computer Information Technology

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction that aligns with course objectives and institutional standards
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to support student learning
• Utilize diverse instructional strategies, including technology-enhanced learning and online learning management systems
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to promote academic growth
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
• Serve as an academic resource for students, offering guidance on coursework and study strategies

Requirements

• Must reside in the state of Ohio
• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Computer & Information Science (CIS), business, or a related field
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with students, peers, and staff
• Proficiency with online learning management systems and various instructional methods
• Commitment to meeting students' learning needs and empowering them to succeed
• Successful completion of a background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in the subject area, a related field, or in education
• Previous teaching experience
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment
