About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach ARI 475/676 Book Arts, a three-credit hour course, during the Fall 2026 semester
- Guide students through the exploration of the artist book as a method for creative expression
- Instruct students in beginning and intermediate level binding methods to create limited edition books
- Develop and update class syllabi, lectures, projects, and student assignments
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours and provide timely grading for assignments and exams
- Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades in accordance with University regulations
- Build positive rapport with students and faculty members
Requirements
- MFA or equivalent degree
- Proven experience teaching a variety of book binding techniques
