Part-Time Faculty: Audition Techniques

About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach DRA 523 Audition Techniques once per week for 170 minutes during the Fall 2026 semester
- Develop and update class syllabi, lectures, projects, and student assignments
- Focus on audition procedures and techniques necessary for careers in theater, film, and television
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours and build positive rapport with students and faculty
- Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner and submit required progress reports and final grades
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 2 years of college-level acting teaching experience
- At least 5 years of successful experience as a theater professional
- Significant experience in current audition processes and demonstrated teaching effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced or terminal degree (or equivalent professional experience)
