Parking Enforcement Officer

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus parking lots on foot and in vehicles to enforce parking regulations and issue citations
• Assist with traffic and parking control, including providing direction at pedestrian crosswalks
• Provide a customer service presence by offering information and guidance on University resources
• Report policy violations, legal infractions, or safety hazards to Safety Services dispatch
• Provide safety escorts for students via foot or vehicle
• Staff Welcome Pavilions as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in customer service or related training
• Ability to stand and walk for more than four hours per day
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in dynamic situations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated willingness to uphold the University’s Christ-centered mission and values

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in law enforcement
• Experience working within a higher education environment
