About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct motorists to parking areas or specific spaces using hand signals or flashlights
- Greet guests, open car doors, and provide instructions for locating vehicles
- Calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests
- Issue ticket stubs or place numbered tags on windshields
- Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and property theft
- Maintain clean and orderly parking areas to maximize space usage
- Assist with venue closing duties, including collecting recyclables and storing event equipment
- Participate in venue sustainability programs by sorting waste and recycling
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to be professional, clear, and concise
- Ability to walk constantly and perform physical tasks such as lifting barricades
- Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of previous guest service experience
