Parking Attendant

Responsibilities

• Direct motorists to parking spaces using hand signals or flashlights
• Greet guests, open car doors, and provide vehicle location instructions
• Calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests
• Issue ticket stubs or place numbered tags on windshields
• Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and property theft
• Maintain clean and orderly parking areas to maximize space usage
• Assist with venue closing tasks, including collecting recyclables and storing equipment
• Participate in sustainability programs such as waste sorting and recycling

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with a professional and clear manner
• Ability to walk constantly and perform physical tasks like lifting barricades
• Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous guest service experience is preferred
