Paraprofessional

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic, social, and daily living skills
• Assist with toileting, hygiene, and feeding needs
• Help manage and de-escalate aggressive physical behaviors using approved techniques
• Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and follow individualized behavior plans
• Follow classroom management plans and behavior support strategies
• Collect data on student progress and behaviors

Requirements

• Experience with special needs or behavioral support preferred
• Open to learning and using applied behavioral techniques
• Ability to remain calm and follow through during challenging situations
• Physically able to assist with personal care and behavioral interventions
• No physical restrictions and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Full time availability Monday-Friday 8:45am-3:15pm
