About the role
Responsibilities
- Place IVs under the direction of an IV sedation certified dentist, oral surgeon, or CRNA
- Attend to patients while they recover from anesthesia
- Assist the oral surgery team with sedation-related duties, such as connecting patients to monitors and nasal cannulas
- Perform other duties as trained by the oral surgery team
Requirements
- Proven competence and experience in placing difficult IVs
- Experience as a Paramedic or EMT
