Paramedic/EMT-P

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing review
• Manage donor adverse events and medical emergencies according to established SOPs
• Evaluate donor reactions and coordinate transport to emergency care facilities if necessary
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings in coordination with the Center Physician
• Support employee health and safety programs, including vaccination programs and incident management
• Provide center-level support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current EMT-Paramedic certification or licensure in the state of assignment
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Certification in basic IV therapy as required by state licensure
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
