Paramedic (EMT-P)

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing reviews.
• Manage donor adverse events and medical emergencies according to established SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings.
• Support center operations by following guidance from Medical Affairs and the Center Physician.
• Assist with employee health and safety initiatives, including vaccination programs and incident management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT-Paramedic license or certification in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Certification in basic IV therapy as required by state licensure.
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
