Paramedic (EMT-P) – No Overnight Shifts

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing reviews.
• Manage donor adverse events and medical emergencies according to established SOPs.
• Evaluate donor reactions and coordinate transport to emergency care facilities if necessary.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings in coordination with the Center Physician.
• Support employee health and safety initiatives, including vaccination programs and incident management.
• Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized to support investigations associated with community threats.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT-Paramedic license or certification in the state of assignment.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
• Certification in basic IV therapy as required by state licensure.
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
