Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Manage civil defense litigation files from initial pleadings through trial preparation
• Work closely with attorneys to drive cases forward across various matters, including construction defect and premises liability
• Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents with meticulous attention to detail
• Utilize e-filing systems and online research tools to support litigation needs
• Maintain accurate billing and time entry records

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal in civil defense litigation
• Proven experience handling Texas matters in both state and federal courts
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and legal terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with e-filing systems and billing/time entry software
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
