Paralegal (Pre-Litigation)

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed client intake and fact-gathering calls
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing monthly updates
• Review case files to ensure thorough understanding of each matter
• Draft professional legal correspondence to opposing counsel
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff to align facts with legal strategy
• Execute case development tasks, such as requesting key documents and evidence
• Deliver disengagement notices to clients with professionalism and compassion
• Participate in weekly meetings with assigned associate attorneys
• Maintain accurate documentation in the firm’s case management system
• Meet productivity and quality benchmarks

Requirements

• C2 level English proficiency in speaking and writing
• Prior experience working in a law office or legal field
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Paralegal experience in employment law or civil litigation
• 1–2 years of experience in employment litigation or pre-litigation
