About the role
Responsibilities
- Draft and revise real estate contracts and related transaction documents
- Review title search reports and assist with real estate closing preparation
- Prepare closing adjustments and coordinate transaction details
- Draft estate planning documents and related client materials
- Draft and file probate court documents through NYSCEF
- Communicate with clients, realtors, municipalities, title insurance companies, attorneys, and other professionals
- Maintain organized files, deadlines, and matter-related documentation
- Support estate planning, probate, elder law, guardianship, and real estate matters
Requirements
- 5+ years of paralegal experience
- Real estate experience including contracts, title review, and closing preparation
- Experience in trusts and estates, elder law, estate planning, probate, or guardianship
- Associate degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Clio
Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000
- Medical insurance reimbursement (approx. $400-$500/month)
