Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and coordinate first drafts of CFTC filings for DCM and DCO entities
• Maintain calendars and project trackers for CFTC filings and responses
• Manage legal administrative functions including Rulebook maintenance and version control
• Research and summarize relevant CFTC rules, no-action letters, and guidance
• Develop project plans, timelines, and status reports for Legal and Compliance initiatives
• Track deliverables and follow up with stakeholders across teams
• Manage document repositories and templates
• Support cross-functional working groups for regulatory submissions and governance reviews
• Work with Compliance to cite Rulebook and Customer Agreement provisions in responses
• Assist in preparing internal documentation for regulatory audits, training, and policy updates
• Create and maintain decks, reports, and presentations for leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3–5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal operations professional in a regulated financial, fintech, or exchange environment
• Exceptional organizational, writing, and project management skills
• Strong proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or J.D. coursework
• Familiarity with CFTC regulations, DCM/DCO filings, or similar frameworks
