Responsibilities

  • Prepare client registration statement updates, SEC filings, and forms
  • Distribute client board and committee materials, including agendas, exhibits, and reports
  • Prepare minutes for client board and committee meetings
  • Maintain contractual agreements and corporate governance documents
  • Manage regulatory calendars and filing processes
  • Assist in developing legal administration procedures for board meetings and SEC filings
  • Support daily legal administration operations and client-related projects

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of paralegal or legal administration experience in a corporate or law firm environment
  • 1-3 years of experience specifically with the Investment Company Act of 1940
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of relevant statutes and rules relating to legal administration and corporate governance
