Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Review subpoenas, investigative demands, and information requests to identify requirements, deadlines, and relevant business contacts
• Prepare and coordinate responses to third-party legal requests in collaboration with in-house and external counsel
• Record, process, and monitor incoming requests and filings using matter management systems and shared repositories
• Research related matters and supporting records to determine response scope and required documentation
• Maintain electronic case management tools, databases, and shared file rooms to support tracking and reporting
• Respond to status inquiries and escalations from issuing parties and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in paralegal, legal operations, or legal analyst work supporting subpoena responses or similar third-party legal matters
• Experience reviewing legal documents, tracking deadlines, and coordinating document collection in a regulated environment
• Proficiency with matter management systems, document repositories, and database tools
• Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal operations credential
• Experience preparing written legal correspondence with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Background supporting third-party response programs within financial services, payments, or consumer data industries
• Experience working directly with in-house and external counsel on investigative matters
