Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain attorney calendars, including preparing files for court and tracking discovery deadlines
• Coordinate depositions and medical examinations
• Order, obtain, review, and summarize medical records for active case files
• Maintain professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and medical specialists
• File and organize legal documents such as exhibits, briefs, and appeals
• Support trial preparation by assembling exhibits and trial binders
• Draft pleadings, related filings, and other formal legal documents

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in Missouri worker's compensation defense
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent writing, typing, and editing skills
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
