About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain attorney calendars, including preparing files for court and tracking discovery deadlines
- Coordinate depositions and medical examinations
- Order, obtain, review, and summarize medical records for active case files
- Maintain professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and medical specialists
- File and organize legal documents such as exhibits, briefs, and appeals
- Support trial preparation by assembling exhibits and trial binders
- Draft pleadings, related filings, and other formal legal documents
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in Missouri worker's compensation defense
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent writing, typing, and editing skills
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
