About the role

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with assigned ADAs and court stakeholders regarding Pathways referrals
  • Draft orders to produce, subpoenas, transcript requests, and other official documents
  • Create files for defendants and investigate criminal histories with law enforcement agencies
  • Prepare files for weekly problem-solving court appearances
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to track division information
  • Take detailed notes during defendant interviews
  • Perform administrative duties including supply ordering and calendar management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
  • Level 2 requires 1 year of criminal justice paralegal experience or equivalent
  • Level 3 requires 2 years of criminal justice paralegal experience or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
