About the role
Responsibilities
- Communicate with assigned ADAs and court stakeholders regarding Pathways referrals
- Draft orders to produce, subpoenas, transcript requests, and other official documents
- Create files for defendants and investigate criminal histories with law enforcement agencies
- Prepare files for weekly problem-solving court appearances
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to track division information
- Take detailed notes during defendant interviews
- Perform administrative duties including supply ordering and calendar management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- Level 2 requires 1 year of criminal justice paralegal experience or equivalent
- Level 3 requires 2 years of criminal justice paralegal experience or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
