Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Consult prescribed sources of information for facts relating to program matters
• File various legal documents with the court
• Process documents for trial use and prepare document notebooks
• Review documents to extract selected data and information
• Review and summarize information regarding case precedent and decisions
• Search and extract legal references in libraries and computer-data banks
• Attend hearings or court appearances to monitor case status and assist with visual information presentation

Requirements

• US Citizenship required to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials
• Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization
• Entry-level experience with relevant legal applications
• Knowledge of file manipulation applications such as LAW, IPRO, ICONECT, or Relativity
• Knowledge of Government IT environments, including office automation networks and PC/server-based applications
• Undergraduate degree preferred, ideally in computer science or information management/technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification in a relevant field
