Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Provide litigation support including document filing for nondisclosure orders, search warrants, and 6e notices
• Review documents to extract specific data and information
• Compile subpoena packets and summarize case precedents and decisions
• Manage dockets, calendar deadlines, status conferences, and arraignments
• Conduct legal research using libraries and computer-data banks
• Attend hearings or court appearances to monitor case status and assist with visual presentations

Requirements

• US Citizenship required to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials
• Paralegal certificate, or enrollment in an ABA-accredited law school (minimum one year completed)
• At least one year of litigation paralegal or project experience
• Proficiency with legal research tools such as Lexis and Westlaw
• Knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and ESI tools
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging systems
