Responsibilities

• Prepare and draft various legal documents related to matrimonial files
• Conduct legal research to support lawyers in matrimonial law cases
• Manage client files, organize appointments, and ensure procedural follow-up
• Communicate with clients to answer questions and provide case updates
• Assist lawyers during judicial proceedings and in hearing preparation
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in file management

Requirements

• Diploma in legal techniques or equivalent
• Specialization or experience in matrimonial law
• Previous experience as a paralegal in a family law firm is an asset
• Strong knowledge of matrimonial law and associated procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files
• Strong communication skills in French (written and oral)
• English proficiency is a plus
• Empathy, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive cases
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
