Panel Program Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead and primary technical customer point of contact for solar array programs
• Lead a broad, cross-functional team from R&D, analysis, operations, design, and manufacturing
• Own and review program technical content across various engineering disciplines
• Collaborate with program managers to execute program milestones
• Review all program-related engineering documents to ensure technical requirements are met
• Support proposal compliance reviews and provide technical consultation
• Manage program-related Engineering Change Requests
• Interface with production teams to resolve manufacturing issues
• Support product configuration management, including specifications, travelers, and test procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, material science, or applied physics
• 2+ years of industry experience for Level II or 5+ years for Senior level
• Knowledge of the Systems Engineering design process
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership capability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Siemens NX, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks
• Experience with power systems design for spacecraft and spacecraft environments
• Experience in space-related manufacturing
• Previous leadership experience in a project engineering role
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role
