Panel Beater

Responsibilities

• Straighten and repair body parts using correct tools and techniques
• Perform welding, riveting, and assembly/disassembly of sheet metal parts
• Assess damage extent in collaboration with damage estimators
• Prepare parts for painting and coordinate with the paint shop
• Document completed work in the workshop system and report spare part needs
• Collaborate with the team to plan work orders and delivery times
• Follow environmental and safety routines to maintain workshop order

Requirements

• Vocational training or documented experience as a panel beater in the automotive industry
• Good knowledge of body straightening and repair methods
• Experience with welding
• Understanding of manufacturer repair instructions and vehicle construction
• Meticulous, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented
• Swedish language proficiency in speech and writing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using tools for aluminum and steel repairs
• B-driver's license
