Palliative Care Physician

Responsibilities

• Provide multidisciplinary palliative care for cancer patients at the Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute
• Manage symptoms proactively to improve quality of life for patients at all stages of their cancer journey
• Participate in an academic-style practice within a community setting
• Engage in a 1:3 call rotation
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Palliative Care
• Training in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Surgical specialties
• Ability to work in an inpatient and outpatient setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a Palliative Care fellowship
• Dual training in palliative care and medical oncology
