Painter Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete painting work orders within designated timelines, including apartment turnovers
• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, priming, and repairing drywall
• Ensure all necessary repairs to drywall, doors, frames, and related hardware are completed
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and common areas
• Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality finishes and safety standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and clean, safe work areas
• Document completed work and materials used
• Travel between multiple properties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting methods
• Familiarity with painting tools, sprayers, rollers, and related equipment
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet turnover deadlines
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional painting experience in residential or multi-family settings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
