Painter

Responsibilities

• Perform paint production activities, including safe operation of manual touch-up guns
• Assist in booth setup, gun positioning, and powder flow settings
• Conduct visual inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 6S standards
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on paint equipment such as venturies, guns, and feed hoppers
• Complete color changes for modules, including removing and cleaning hoppers and filters
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including Tyvek suits, hoods, masks, and gloves
• Report safety or quality issues to appropriate personnel and identify continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to learn specific tasks, equipment, and required PPE
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of eight hours daily
• Ability to periodically lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Availability to work overtime as needed
