Painter

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion.
• Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
• Inspect finished products for defects and perform necessary touch-ups or repairs.
• Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot painting equipment and tools regularly.
• Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials like solvents and chemicals.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and schedules.
• Identify and suggest improvements to the painting process for better efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a painter or in a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing, bending, and manual labor.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and work independently.
