Painter

Responsibilities

• Prepare workpieces meticulously, including masking complex geometries and constructing custom holders
• Manage the entire coating process from primer application to final lacquer and clear coat finish
• Perform fine sanding, wet sanding, and polishing to achieve desired haptics and aesthetics
• Work with filler, model details, glue components, and assemble moving prototype parts
• Support post-processing tasks such as support removal, sandblasting, and tempering to maintain workflow

Requirements

• Trained painter and lacquerer or similar qualifications and experience
• Ability to identify surface defects and use fillers/abrasives to correct microscopic irregularities
• Understanding of how coatings react to different 3D printing materials
• Proficiency in color mixing and layer thickness control
• Strong German or English communication skills
