Painter

Responsibilities

• Paint assembled units using HVLP spray gun
• File, grind, sand, and smooth assembled or welded surfaces using power and hand tools
• Spray prepared surfaces with specified amounts of primers and finish coatings
• Monitor painting operations to identify and correct flaws like blisters or streaks
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers or power equipment
• Manage time, tasks, and workflows independently

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years of relevant painting experience
• Experience using HVLP spray guns
• Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment involving standing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
• Physical ability to carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of painting experience
• Experience painting in a production or metal fabrication facility
