Painter

Responsibilities

• Prepare paint areas and mask components to ensure high-quality application meeting specification criteria
• Apply coatings to components using professional spray techniques and adjust equipment as needed
• Mix paints and work with solvents safely
• Identify paint defects and determine root causes
• Maintain basic safety precautions when handling all paints and solvents

Requirements

• Ability to repair and paint defects
• Ability to perform painting tasks in hard-to-reach and awkward positions
• Ability to work in full painter's PPE, including a respirator
• Ability to walk or stand for up to 10 hours per day

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on automotive painting experience
• Experience with automotive body repairs
• Strong mechanical aptitude
