About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare paint areas and mask components to ensure high-quality application meeting specification criteria
- Apply coatings to components using professional spray techniques and adjust equipment as needed
- Mix paints and work with solvents safely
- Identify paint defects and determine root causes
- Maintain basic safety precautions when handling all paints and solvents
Requirements
- Ability to repair and paint defects
- Ability to perform painting tasks in hard-to-reach and awkward positions
- Ability to work in full painter's PPE, including a respirator
- Ability to walk or stand for up to 10 hours per day
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of hands-on automotive painting experience
- Experience with automotive body repairs
- Strong mechanical aptitude
