About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Apply industrial coatings using spray equipment, rollers, or brushes with high precision
- Mix and match paints to achieve exact color specifications and uniformity
- Maintain painting tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines regarding ventilation and hazardous materials
- Inspect finished work to ensure adherence to quality standards and report defects
- Manage inventory of paint supplies and request replenishments as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely project completion
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2+ years of industrial painting experience
- Proficiency in reading and writing English
- Strong knowledge of finish painting, sanding, masking, and equipment maintenance
- Ability to use and comprehend specifications, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficiency with MS Office, ERP Systems, and Jira
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and safe working practices in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use gauges and measuring devices
