Painter

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain painting equipment, including inspecting spray guns and performing color changes
• Prepare parts for paint application through plugging, masking, and other cosmetic duties
• Load and unload parts from the conveyor line while ensuring high-quality finishes
• Apply powder paints according to manufacturer specifications and perform thickness and adhesion testing
• Identify process issues and follow procedures regarding parts flow and associated paperwork
• Maintain 5S standards and adhere to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics
• Work in confined spaces as required by the production process

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions to perform quality measurements
• Competence to troubleshoot paint equipment
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Ability to pass a pulmonary function test physical
