Painter

Responsibilities

• Prepare all surfaces for spraying, including bare metal, sanding, and feather edging
• Check Bills of Material for correct color and specified mil thickness
• Adjust and monitor pump pressures, heater temperatures, and air/fluid pressures
• Maintain spray booth cleanliness and change filters on a scheduled basis
• Use crane to move units into spray booth and move repainted units to staging areas
• Cross train and perform duties in other work areas of the team

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months of spray-painting experience
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and standing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous working knowledge of industrial airless or air pressure painting
