Painter

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, and filling holes or cracks
• Clean and prepare drywall, wood, concrete, plaster, and metal surfaces
• Apply primers, sealers, paints, stains, varnishes, and lacquers
• Perform interior and exterior painting on residential units, garages, and common areas
• Support housing turnover through minor drywall repairs and caulking
• Coordinate work with other trades such as carpenters and plumbers
• Maintain and use painting tools including sprayers, ladders, and scaffolding
• Manage paint inventory and ensure proper disposal of solvents

Requirements

• Ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team
• Proficiency with brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Knowledge of color matching and finishing standards
• Commitment to workplace health and safety procedures
• Ability to maintain clean and safe work areas
