Painter

Responsibilities

• Operate spray painters or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or manufactured products
• Paint by hand when necessary
• Mix paints and other solutions for application
• Complete finishing processes including baking, polishing, or using other materials
• Monitor drying processes to ensure desired results and quality control

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of general work experience
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8+ hours daily
• Ability to pass a respirator medical evaluation
• Ability to participate in drug and alcohol programs for safety-sensitive positions

Preferred Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or formal training in production painting
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
