About the role
Responsibilities
- Prep HVAC equipment and replacement parts for painting through sanding, taping, and metal working
- Apply paint to equipment and parts
- Ensure proper disposal of chemical and paint waste
- Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respirators and paint suits
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, climb, and stoop
- Willingness to work 8-hour shifts (7am-4pm) and overtime or weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous industrial painting experience
- Knowledge of paint, thinners, and painting equipment
- Experience with paint mixing and mixing cups
- Metal working or body shop skills for repair projects
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
