Paint QC Technician

Responsibilities

• Apply base coat, clear coat, and spot blends to vehicles
• Perform bodywork including Bondo, sanding, buffing, glazing, and blending
• Operate paint-related tools such as DA Sanders, Orbital Buffers, Spray Guns, and Pneumatic Grinders
• Inspect finished paint jobs for proper surface condition, color match, and finish quality
• Seal all seams and prepare products properly for coating
• Follow all safety protocols, including hazardous waste disposal and proper equipment use
• Maintain production schedules while adhering to 5S standards

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive paint application and repair
• Proven experience repairing dents, scratches, and patching holes
• Proficiency with various paint tools and spray systems
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to work in high-heat environments (up to 105 degrees) for extended periods
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day and work from ladders or scaffolding
• Ability to pass a spirometry test
