About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the creation and updating of process documentation, including operation sheets, inspection routes, and visual aids
- Participate in bottleneck analysis within inspection and packaging areas for high-volume parts
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Assist in process capability analysis and the monitoring of performance indicators
- Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities and root cause analysis for problem-solving
- Collaborate on continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction
- Assist in process standardization and documentation compliance under IATF guidelines
Requirements
- Active student in Industrial, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or a related field (preferably in final semesters)
- Valid student insurance (Seguro Facultativo) is mandatory
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Availability for a full-time internship (8 hours daily)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of continuous improvement tools and process analysis techniques
