Paint Process Trainee

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and updating of process documentation, including operation sheets, inspection routes, and visual aids
• Participate in bottleneck analysis within inspection and packaging areas for high-volume parts
• Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Assist in process capability analysis and the monitoring of performance indicators
• Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities and root cause analysis for problem-solving
• Collaborate on continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction
• Assist in process standardization and documentation compliance under IATF guidelines

Requirements

• Active student in Industrial, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or a related field (preferably in final semesters)
• Valid student insurance (Seguro Facultativo) is mandatory
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Availability for a full-time internship (8 hours daily)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of continuous improvement tools and process analysis techniques
