Paint Mix Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely to ensure high quality and correct quantity in accordance with production schedules and standard operating procedures
• Blend and mix toners to designated formulas using both manual methods and mixing machines
• Control paint viscosities and monitor tank levels
• Record and document all pertinent information when completing mixes
• Operate mix machines and paint delivery systems
• Perform routine problem-solving associated with job responsibilities
• Maintain a clean work area and manage waste generation through diligent housekeeping
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• At least 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing, plant, or industrial environment
• Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to accurately measure and weight fractions of ounces, gallons, and pints
• Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to use various forms of PPE, including respiratory protection
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
